Bombay High Court Recruitment 2025: Apply for Stenographer Posts
The Bombay High Court has released a recruitment notification for 12 Stenographer (High Grade) positions. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website, bombayhighcourt.nic.in, before the deadline of November 10, 2025. Selected candidates will receive a basic salary of ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500 along with other allowances.
Educational Qualifications
- A graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university is required.
- Candidates with 5 years of prior experience as a stenographer in the High Court, any other court/tribunal, Advocate General’s office, or Government Pleader office are exempt from the degree requirement.
- Preference will be given to candidates with a law degree.
- Typing requirements:
- Shorthand: 100 words per minute
- English typing: 40 words per minute
Age Limit
- General category: 21 to 38 years
- SC/ST/OBC/SBC: 21 to 43 years
- No age limit for High Court or government employees applying through proper channels.
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected through:
- Written examination
- Shorthand test
- Typing test
- Viva voce
Performance in all stages will determine final selection.
