RITES Apprentice Recruitment 2025: Apply for 252 Posts Before December 5
The Indian Railways Technical and Economic Service (RITES) has announced 252 apprentice vacancies for the year 2025. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website. The application window is open until December 5, 2025.
Vacancy Details
A total of 252 apprentice posts will be filled, including:
- 146 Graduate Apprentices
- 49 Diploma Apprentices
- 57 Trade Apprentices (ITI)
Eligibility Criteria
Graduate Apprentice:
- Four-year full-time Engineering Degree (BE/B.Tech/B.Arch)
- Non-engineering graduates (BA, BBA, B.Com, B.Sc, BCA – 3-year UG programs) may also apply
Diploma Apprentice:
- Three-year full-time Engineering Diploma
Trade Apprentice:
- ITI pass in the relevant trade
Selection Process
- Selection will be based strictly on a merit list, prepared using marks obtained in the required qualification.
- No written test or interview will be conducted.
- In case of a tie, the candidate older in age will be ranked higher.
- Minimum qualifying marks:
- General/EWS: 60% aggregate
- SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwBD: 50% aggregate
- Where marks for an honors subject are given, eligibility will be calculated accordingly; otherwise, the aggregate of all subjects will be considered.
Stipend
Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend ranging from ₹10,000 to ₹14,000, depending on the category (graduate, diploma, or trade) and department.

- Fill in the online application form and upload the required documents, such as a photograph, signature, mark sheets, and certificates.
- Pay the application fee (if applicable) and submit the form.
