SSC CGL Tier-2 Answer Key and Response Sheet Released – Objections Can Be Filed Until February 3
SSC CGL Tier-2: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the provisional answer key and response sheets for the CGL Tier-2 examination. Candidates who appeared for the second stage of the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) can now download their respective answer keys and response sheets from the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in.
This release allows candidates to review their performance and verify their responses against the official answer key. Those who find discrepancies or errors in the answer key or question paper have the opportunity to raise objections. The objection submission window will remain open until 8 PM on February 3, 2026, after which no representations will be accepted under any circumstances.
Candidates can challenge any answer by paying a nominal fee of Rs. 50 per question. Alongside the answer key, SSC has also uploaded the question papers and individual response sheets for candidates’ reference. These documents are intended for personal use and self-analysis only, as clarified by the Commission.
According to the SSC CGL Tier-1 results, a total of 1.40 lakh candidates were shortlisted for the Tier-2 exam. Among them, 6,196 candidates qualified for JSO, 2,781 for SI Grade 2, and 1,31,027 candidates for other posts.
The Commission has emphasized that candidates should take a printout of their response sheets before the deadline, as they will no longer be accessible afterward. Furthermore, after the declaration of results, candidates will be required to submit their option-cum-preference for various posts. Candidates who fail to submit this information will not be considered for allocation in the final result.
SSC has also mentioned that a written assurance regarding the use of the question papers and answer keys is included in the Challenge Management Portal, visible upon login. This ensures transparency and allows candidates to carefully assess and submit their objections if needed.
