The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has issued the Mains application notification for the recruitment of Assistant Teacher (TGT) posts on its official website. The application process began on 02 April 2026 and will continue until 17 April 2026.

Graduation with Hindi as a subject and Sanskrit at Intermediate level or Uttar Madhyama from UP Sanskrit Shiksha Parishad, along with a B.Ed. degree recognized by NCTE.
Assistant Teacher (Male/Female) English
Graduation in English Literature from a recognized university and a B.Ed. degree approved by NCTE.
Assistant Teacher (Male/Female) Mathematics
Graduation with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized university and a B.Ed. degree approved by NCTE.
Assistant Teacher (Male/Female) Science
Graduation with Physics and Chemistry as subjects and a B.Ed. degree recognized by NCTE.
Assistant Teacher (Male/Female) Social Science
Graduation with at least two subjects among History, Geography, Political Science, and Economics, along with a B.Ed. degree approved by NCTE.
Assistant Teacher (Male/Female) Computer
B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science, or Graduation in Computer Science/Applications, or Graduation with ‘A’ Level from NIELIT, or B.Tech with MCA. B.Ed. (NCTE recognized) is preferred.
Assistant Teacher (Male/Female) Urdu
Graduation with Urdu as a subject and a B.Ed. degree approved by NCTE.
Assistant Teacher (Male/Female) Biology
Graduation with Zoology and Botany as subjects and a B.Ed. degree approved by NCTE.
Assistant Teacher (Male/Female) Sanskrit
Graduation with Sanskrit as a subject and a B.Ed. degree approved by NCTE.
Assistant Teacher (Male/Female) Arts
Graduation with Art and B.Ed. (NCTE recognized), or BFA with B.Ed. (preferred).
Assistant Teacher (Male/Female) Music
Graduation with Music or Sangeet Visharad / Sangeet Prabhakar with graduation, along with a B.Ed. degree recognized by NCTE.
Assistant Teacher (Male/Female) Commerce
Graduation in Commerce and a B.Ed. degree approved by NCTE.
Graduation in Agriculture or Horticulture and a B.Ed. degree approved by NCTE.

Visit the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC).
On the homepage, click on “Apply Online” or “Candidate Registration.” Log in using your Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth.
After logging in, find and select “LT Grade Assistant Teacher Mains Application 2026.”
