Russia-Ukraine Conflict: Russian Missile Attack in Zelensky’s Hometown Kills Four
The Ukrainian Air Force reported that Russia launched 112 Shahed drones and two Iskander ballistic missiles on Ukraine overnight, causing significant destruction in the affected areas. So far, Russia has not issued any response to these attacks.
On Wednesday night, a Russian missile struck a hotel in Kryvyi Rih, the hometown of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, killing at least four people. The attack occurred amid ongoing efforts to bring an end to the war between Russia and Ukraine.
President Zelensky stated that just before the strike, volunteers from a humanitarian organization, including Ukrainian, American, and British citizens, had entered the hotel. However, he did not confirm whether any of them were among the 31 injured in the attack.
The Ukrainian Air Force reiterated that Russia had launched a large-scale assault using Shahed drones and Iskander ballistic missiles, resulting in widespread destruction. As of now, Russia has not commented on the attacks.
