Extended Application Dates
According to the latest notification, the last date to submit the online application form for the BSSC Inter Level Recruitment 2025 has been extended to 15 January 2026. Increase in Total Vacancies
Initially, the Bihar Staff Selection Commission had announced 23,175 vacancies under this recruitment drive. However, after reviewing departmental requirements, the commission has added 1,317 additional posts. With this increase, the total number of vacancies now stands at 24,492. These vacancies cover several important posts such as Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Clerk-cum-Typist, Junior Regional Investigator, and other inter-level positions across various government departments in Bihar.

Under the BSSC Second Inter Level Recruitment 2025, a total of 24,492 posts will be filled across different categories:
- Unreserved (General): 10,753 posts
- Scheduled Castes (SC): 3,407 posts
- Scheduled Tribes (ST): 231 posts
- Extremely Backward Classes (EBC): 4,185 posts
- Backward Classes (BC): 2,678 posts
- Backward Class Women: 811 posts
- Economically Weaker Sections (EWS): 2,427 posts
In addition to the above, 7,816 posts have been reserved for women candidates under the 35% horizontal reservation, creating significant employment opportunities for female applicants in government services.
Eligibility Criteria and Selection Process
To be eligible for the BSSC Inter Level Recruitment 2025, candidates must have passed the 12th standard (Intermediate) from a recognized board. For certain posts, typing skills or basic computer knowledge may be mandatory.

- Maximum Age: 37 years (as of 1 August 2025)
