Delhi Secretariat Sealed: No Files, Documents, or Electronic Records to Be Moved Out
Delhi Secretariat Sealed After AAP’s Defeat: Concerns Over Theft of Files and Computer Data! Action Taken on Lieutenant Governor’s Order
Delhi Secretariat Sealed News: Due to security concerns regarding the documents in the Secretariat, an order has been issued stating that no files, documents, or computer hardware can be removed from the Delhi Secretariat premises without the department’s permission.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is on its way to a significant victory in the Delhi Assembly elections. The BJP has managed to prevent the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) from securing a fourth consecutive win in Delhi. As per the current trends, the BJP is set to return to power after a 27-year gap. Key AAP leaders, including former Delhi Chief Minister and AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal, along with former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, have all lost in the elections.
As of 3:30 PM, the BJP has won 30 seats and is leading in 18 others. With a majority in Delhi being 36 seats, the BJP is on track to surpass this threshold with ease. In light of this political shift, the General Administration Department (GAD) of the Delhi Government, acting on the instructions of Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena, has issued an order.
Key Points of the Order: The order highlights concerns about the security of Secretariat documents. It stipulates that no files, documents, or computer hardware can be removed from the Secretariat premises without the approval of the concerned department. Furthermore, all departments, agencies, and the Council of Ministers’ camp offices have been instructed not to remove any records or files without explicit permission.
