HPSC Exam Dates 2026 Released: Eight Recruitment Exams Scheduled Between January and March
HPSC Exam Date 2026: The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has officially released the examination dates for eight upcoming recruitment examinations. These exams are scheduled to be conducted over a three-month period, beginning in January and concluding in March 2026. The release of the exam calendar aims to help candidates plan their preparation strategy well in advance and avoid schedule-related confusion.
As per the notification issued by the commission, a majority of the recruitment examinations will take place in January 2026. In total, six examinations are scheduled for January, while one examination each will be conducted in February and March 2026. The detailed schedule includes Subject Knowledge Tests (SKT) and screening tests for various teaching, engineering, and technical posts.
HPSC Exam Date 2026 Schedule Details
According to the official timetable, the Subject Knowledge Test (SKT) for Lecturer posts in Civil Engineering and Computer Engineering will be conducted on January 19, 2026. Following this, the SKT for Lecturer (Mechanical Engineering) is scheduled for January 20, 2026, along with the examination for the Foreman Instructor post on the same day.
The SKT for Lecturer (Electrical Engineering) and Lecturer (Pharmacy) will be held on January 21, 2026. These January examinations cover a wide range of technical and academic disciplines, offering candidates multiple opportunities across different recruitment posts.
Moving into February, the Subject Knowledge Test for PGT English is scheduled to take place on February 1, 2026. This examination is particularly important for candidates aspiring to secure postgraduate teaching positions in government institutions across Haryana.
In March 2026, the commission will conduct the screening test for the Assistant Professor post in Environmental Science on March 15, 2026, marking the final examination in the current recruitment cycle announced by HPSC.

Important Guidelines for HPSC Exam Date 2026
Candidates appearing for the HPSC recruitment examinations must strictly adhere to the guidelines issued by the commission. It is mandatory to carry a printed admit card, as entry into the examination hall will not be permitted without it. Along with the admit card, candidates must also bring a valid government-issued photo identity proof, such as an Aadhaar card, Voter ID, or Passport.
Candidates are advised to reach their allotted examination center at least 30 to 45 minutes before the scheduled start time to complete verification procedures smoothly. Only permitted stationery items, such as black or blue ballpoint pens, are allowed inside the examination hall. The use of mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, or any electronic devices is strictly prohibited.
Candidates must occupy their designated seats as per the seating arrangement and follow all instructions provided by invigilators. Late arrivals will not be allowed entry under any circumstances. Maintaining discipline and avoiding any form of unfair practice is crucial, as violations may lead to immediate disqualification or expulsion from the examination.
