Advertisement No. 01/2024 for IAF Group C Civilian Recruitment Notification for the selection of 182 positions opening in 2024–25: For the purpose of filling Group “C” Civilian positions in various Air Force Stations and Units, such as Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Hindi Typist, and Civilian Mechanical Transport Driver, the Indian Air Force (IAF) is accepting applications from eligible Indian citizens.

IAF Group C Maximum Age:
For all positions, the age range is 18 to 25 as of the application deadline.

IAF Group C Requirements for Eligibility:
✔️ Hindi Typist / LDC:
(1) Matriculation from a recognised Board with a 12th Class pass.
(2) Computerised skill test norms for English typing at 35 words per minute and Hindi typing at 30 words per minute (35 and 30 words per minute, respectively, translate into 10500 and 9000 key depressions per hour, assuming an average of five key depressions per word).
Driver of a Civilian Mechanical Transport:
(1) Matriculation from an accredited board, or an equivalent qualification.
(2) Possess a current civil driver’s license for both light and heavy vehicles.
(3) Professional driving ability and motor mechanism understanding are prerequisites.
(4) A minimum of two years of automobile driving experience.

How to Apply for the 2024 IAF Group C Recruitment
Candidates who meet the requirements can apply to any Air Force Station, provided that station has openings and available slots. Applications in the required format (typed in Hindi or English) must be sent by regular mail to the relevant Air Force Station, along with the necessary supporting documentation.
(a) All supporting documentation, including certificates of education, age, technical proficiency, physical handicap, experience, and caste (issued by the appropriate civil authorities in the case of SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PwBD, and ESM candidates), that is to be submitted with the application, must be self-attested.
(b) OBC candidates should have their caste listed on the Central List of OBCs in the event that they are appointed against their reserved quota. Only candidates from castes registered under the Central List are eligible for appointments to Central Services.
You must adhere to the most recent guidelines regarding the creamy layer in OBCs. A certificate stating that the applicant does not belong to any of the creamy layers must be submitted with the application if the applicant is requesting a quota as an OBC.
(c) A self-attested photocopy of the discharge book is required to be submitted with the application in the case of an ex-serviceman.
(d) A completed application form in English or Hindi that has been properly self-attested and includes a recent passport-sized photo. Any further supporting documentation, self-attested Envelope addressed to oneself, with a stamp of Rs. 10/-pasted on it.
Type your address in Hindi or English. Applications should be sent separately for each vacancy. Candidates should write “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF _______ AND CATEGORY _______” very clearly on the envelope.
(e) Two passport-sized photos that match the ones that are fixed on the application.
