CBSE KVS NVS Recruitment 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the examination schedule for the Tier-1 stage of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) Recruitment 2025. The Tier-1 examination will be conducted in multiple shifts across different dates in January 2026. Candidates who have successfully completed the online application process for various teaching and non-teaching posts can now check their exam-related details.
As per the notification, the examination city for eligible candidates has already been allotted by CBSE. Applicants can access their exam city information by logging into the official CBSE examination portal. The board has further informed that the admit cards will be made available two days prior to the scheduled examination date.
Details of KVS NVS Recruitment 2025 Tier-1 Examination
The Tier-1 examination is being conducted under Advertisement No. 01/2025 for recruitment to multiple posts under KVS and NVS, including teaching, administrative, and support staff positions. This examination is meant for candidates who successfully submitted their applications within the stipulated time period.
Along with announcing the exam dates, CBSE has also shared important instructions related to the login process. Candidates must strictly follow the procedure mentioned in the official public notice while accessing their examination details.
Tier-1 Exam Dates and Shifts
According to the schedule released by CBSE, the Tier-1 examination will be conducted over two days in January 2026, with different posts assigned to specific shifts.
- January 10, 2026 (Morning Shift: 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM):
The examination will be held for candidates applying for the posts of Primary Teacher (PRT), Junior Secretariat Assistant, and Lab Attendant. - January 10, 2026 (Afternoon Shift: 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM):
The exam for Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) posts under the Headquarters and Regional Office Cadre will take place during this shift.
Exams Scheduled for KVS NVS Recruitment 2025 on January 11
- January 11, 2026 (Morning Shift: 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM):
Candidates applying for senior administrative and teaching positions, including Assistant Commissioner, Principal, Vice Principal, and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT), will appear for the examination in the morning session. - January 11, 2026 (Afternoon Shift: 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM):
The afternoon session will cover a wide range of posts such as Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) and other miscellaneous teaching roles. Additionally, exams will be conducted for Librarian, Administrative Officer, Finance Officer, Junior Translator, Assistant Engineer, Assistant Section Officer, Senior Secretariat Assistant, and Stenographer Grade-I and Grade-II posts.
Important Instructions Regarding Exam City and Login for KVS NVS Recruitment 2025
CBSE has clarified that candidates who have successfully registered for the recruitment process have already been allotted an examination city. To access their exam city details, candidates must log in using the registration number starting with “2598”. Login attempts using the application number will not be accepted.
The board has also made it clear that no requests for a change in examination city will be entertained under any circumstances. Moreover, no separate communication or notification will be issued regarding exam city changes.
Admit Card Release Date of KVS NVS Recruitment 2025
The admit card, which will include the complete address of the examination center, reporting time, and other important instructions, will be released on the official CBSE portal two days before the examination date.
