Uttarakhand PRT Teacher Recruitment 2025:
The Uttarakhand School Education Department has released a major notification for Primary Teacher (PRT) recruitment. With more than 1600+ vacancies across multiple districts, eligible candidates are advised to submit their applications before the respective deadlines. This recruitment covers districts including Almora, Dehradun, Pithoragarh, Chamoli, Uttarkashi, Nainital, Champawat, Udham Singh Nagar, and others.
The application process has started for several districts from 9 November 2025, and all applications must be submitted offline. Since each district has its own last date, ranging from 28 November to 5 December 2025, applicants must carefully check the deadline for their district before applying. PRT Teacher Recruitment: Educational Qualifications
To apply for Uttarakhand PRT posts, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- A graduation degree from a recognized university (degree/marksheet must be issued before the application deadline).
- Completed one of the following from an NCTE-recognized institution:
- 2-year D.El.Ed.
- 4-year B.Ed.
- 2-year Diploma in Special Education
Applications with incomplete or late educational documents will not be accepted.
PRT Teacher Recruitment: Experience & Additional Requirements
- Candidates working in primary schools are eligible and will receive additional points based on experience.
- Must have completed 2-year BTC training.
- Must qualify Teacher Eligibility Test – I (TET-I).

- Age requirement: 21 to 42 years (relaxation for reserved categories as per rules).
- Selected candidates will receive a salary between ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400 under Grade III, Level-06.
