Railway JE 2024 Salary
♔️ Pay Level 6 in the 7th CPC for Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant Posts: ₹ 35,400/-per month
♔️ ₹ 44,900/-per month (Pay Level 7 in 7th CPC) for Chemical Supervisor/Research and Metallurgical Supervisor/Research
Railway JE 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Maximum Age: The age limit for railway junior engineers is
18 years as a minimum and 36 years as a maximum as of January 1, 2025.
In accordance with government regulations, the maximum age limit or relaxation is 03 years for OBC-NCL, 05 years for SC/ST, plus 10 years for PwBD and other categories.
Educational Qualifications:
Junior Engineers: Three-year diploma in engineering related field.
Chemical Supervisor/Research: A degree in Chemical Technology, or an equivalent, in any of the following areas from an accredited university or institution: a) Petroleum Products; b) Paints and Corrosion Prevention; c) Polymers. Any understanding of a computer language is necessary.
Metallurgical Supervisor/Research: Metallurgical Engineering degree or its equivalent from an accredited college or university. Any understanding of a computer language is necessary.

How to Apply Railway JE Recruitment 2024
Online applications for Railway Junior Engineer 2024 (RRB JE 2024) are required of eligible candidates. On July 30, 2024, the application form must be completed and submitted through the relevant RRBs’ and RRCs’ official websites. The following procedures will be followed for the online registration of the Railway Centralised Employment Notice (CEN) No. 03/2024:-
(1) Go to www.rrbapply.gov.in, the official RRB online application recruitment portal.
(2) Verify that your phone number and email address are authenticated by an OTP. Throughout the recruitment process, it is advised that candidates maintain an active personal mobile number and valid email address, as RRBs and RRCs will only communicate via email or SMS.
(4) Enter your name, birthdate, mother’s name, father’s name, Aadhaar number, and other registration information.
(5) Upload scanned copies of your most recent photo, your signature, and any supporting paperwork or certificates.
(6) Fill out the online application and pay the application fee (if applicable) before Thursday, August 29, 2024, at 11:59 PM.
