Patients Relocated for Safety
The IDF stated that efforts were made to ensure the safety of civilians, patients, and medical staff during the operation. Over 350 individuals, including 75 patients, their companions, and 185 medical staff, were relocated to a nearby school. Gaza Health Ministry director Munir al-Bursh confirmed the evacuation.
Missiles Fired at Israel from Yemen
The IDF reported that missiles were launched from Yemen toward Israel, but they were intercepted and destroyed in the air. It remains unclear whether the interception was carried out by Israeli or American defense systems. A U.S. missile defense battery deployed in Israel since October successfully intercepted a Houthi ballistic missile. The IDF added that Houthi rebels have launched over 200 missiles and 170 drones toward Israel in the past year.
