Toronto Pub Shooting: 12 Injured in Firing Incident, Police Continue Search for Attacker

Toronto, Canada: A tragic shooting incident occurred in a pub in eastern Toronto, leaving 12 people injured, some of them critically. The incident took place near Scarborough Town Center Mall around 10:40 PM on Friday night, as confirmed by the police. The suspect is currently absconding, and police have launched an extensive search operation to apprehend the attacker.

According to Toronto Police, a man wearing a black jacket entered a pub near Scarborough Town Center Mall and opened fire, injuring 12 people. Initially, reports indicated 11 injured, but later Canadian police confirmed 12 casualties. Out of these, six people sustained minor injuries, while the remaining six are in critical condition. The injured were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Attacker’s Details and Police Investigation

Eyewitnesses reported that the suspect fled the scene in a silver car after the shooting. The police have shared a description of the attacker, stating that he was wearing a black jacket and quickly escaped after committing the crime. In the latest update, the police suspect the involvement of three individuals in this incident. The search operation is ongoing, and Toronto Police have urged residents to stay indoors and remain vigilant until the suspects are apprehended.
