UPSC CSE Mains 2025: E-Summon Letters Released for 649 Candidates for Personality Test; Interviews to Continue Until December 19
UPSC CSE Mains 2025: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released e-summon letters for 649 candidates selected for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025 personality test, also known as the interview round. The interviews are scheduled to begin today and will continue until December 19, 2025. Candidates can now download their e-summon letters by following the official procedure outlined on the UPSC website.
According to the UPSC CSE Mains 2025 results, a total of 2,736 candidates have successfully qualified for the interview stage after clearing both the Preliminary and Main examinations. The first phase of the personality test will cover 649 candidates, whose interviews will be conducted between December 8 and December 19. The remaining candidates will be called for subsequent phases, with the schedule to be announced soon.
UPSC CSE Mains 2025: Interviews Conducted in Two Sessions
The UPSC will conduct the personality tests in two daily sessions. Candidates must report by 9:00 AM for the forenoon session and 1:00 PM for the afternoon session. Candidates attending the interviews will also be eligible for reimbursement of travel expenses as per the official guidelines.
The official notification specifies:
“Candidates will need to submit printed copies of their travel tickets for both onward and return journeys, along with the duly filled Travel Allowance (TA) claim form. TA bill forms are available for download at upsc.gov.in/forms-downloads.”

- Visit the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in or upsconline.gov.in.

- Enter your seven-digit roll number and date of birth in the format dd-mm-yyyy.
- Complete the CAPTCHA verification displayed on the screen.
- The e-summon letter/admit card will appear on the screen.
- Download and save the e-summon letter for future reference and verification during the interview.
