UPSC NDA 2025 Final Result Declared: 742 Candidates Selected, Check Complete Merit List
The UPSC NDA 2025 Final Result has officially been announced by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Candidates who appeared for the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) Examination (II) 2025 and successfully completed the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview process can now check the final merit list on the official website, upsc.gov.in. According to the commission, a total of 742 candidates have been recommended for selection after completing all stages of the examination process.
The announcement of the UPSC NDA 2025 Final Result marks the final stage of the recruitment process for admission into the prestigious National Defence Academy and Naval Academy. The merit list has been prepared based on the combined performance of candidates in the written examination and the SSB interviews conducted by the Services Selection Board.
UPSC NDA II 2025 Final Result Announcement
The Union Public Service Commission released the UPSC NDA 2025 Final Result on April 8, 2026. The written examination for NDA-II 2025 was conducted earlier on September 14, 2025, across various examination centres in the country. Candidates who qualified in the written exam were later called for the SSB interview round, which evaluates candidates on multiple parameters including leadership skills, personality traits, communication abilities, and overall suitability for a career in the armed forces.
After the completion of the interview process, UPSC prepared the final merit list. As per the official notification, 742 candidates have been recommended for admission to the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the National Defence Academy as well as the Naval Academy.
Out of the total selected candidates in the UPSC NDA 2025 Final Result, 651 are male candidates and 91 are female candidates. Their names have been published in the official merit list released by UPSC in PDF format.
Merit List Available in PDF Format
Candidates can download the UPSC NDA 2025 Final Result merit list directly from the official UPSC website. The result has been published in a PDF file containing the roll numbers and names of the selected candidates. This list represents the candidates who have successfully cleared both the written examination and the SSB interview stage.
However, the Commission has clarified that the medical examination results are not included in the merit list. Therefore, the selection of candidates is considered provisional until all required formalities, including medical verification and document submission, are completed.
Marksheets to Be Released Soon
UPSC has also stated that the individual marks of candidates who appeared in the NDA-II 2025 examination will be uploaded on the official website shortly. The detailed marksheets are expected to be made available within 15 days from the date of the final result declaration.
Candidates will be able to check their marks by logging into the UPSC website using their registration credentials once the marks are published.
Document Submission Process for Selected Candidates
All candidates whose names appear in the UPSC NDA 2025 Final Result must submit the necessary documents for verification. These include:
- Proof of Date of Birth
- Educational Qualification Certificates
- Identity Proof
- Other required documents as specified by the authorities
The documents must be submitted directly to the Army Headquarters (Adjutant General’s Branch) under the Ministry of Defence. Candidates are advised to ensure that all documents are authentic and submitted within the stipulated time frame.
In case a candidate changes their residential address or contact details, the updated information must be immediately communicated to the Army Headquarters to avoid any complications during the admission process.
UPSC CDS 2 Final Result Also Revised
Along with the announcement of the UPSC NDA 2025 Final Result, the Union Public Service Commission has also revised the final result for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination (II). The revised merit list has been uploaded on the official website, and it reflects changes in the rankings of certain candidates.
The CDS 2 Final Result, which was originally declared on March 30, has now been updated by the Commission. Candidates who appeared in the CDS examination are advised to check the revised PDF merit list available on the UPSC website.
