Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025: Spotlight on Top Luxury EVs

The highly anticipated Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 is set to take place from January 17 to January 22. This annual automotive event promises to be a spectacular showcase of innovation, with numerous luxury electric vehicles (EVs) taking center stage. Here’s a look at the luxury cars expected to debut at this year’s expo.

MG Cyberster A standout at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, the MG Cyberster is poised to capture attention as JSW MG Motor India’s flagship reveal. This sleek blend of electric efficiency and sportscar aesthetics boasts design highlights such as a streamlined silhouette and scissor doors. Equipped with a 77 kWh battery, the Cyberster offers a remarkable range of up to 570 km on a single charge and can reach speeds exceeding 200 km/h. Impressively, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds. The MG Cyberster will be exclusively available through the new MG Select retail channel.

MG M9 Venturing into the luxury segment, MG Motor is set to unveil the MG M9 limousine, a direct competitor to the Kia Carnival. Designed for ultimate comfort, the M9 features ottoman seats in the second row, eight massage modes, and three-zone climate control, all controllable via a touchscreen panel on the handrail. The M9 marks its Indian debut at this expo and will also be retailed through MG Select’s premium dealerships.

BYD Sealion 7 BYD India has confirmed the debut of the BYD Sealion 7 at the expo. Set to launch later this year, the Sealion 7, available in both rear-wheel and all-wheel drive versions, is a performance-oriented electric SUV. It delivers a robust 523 bhp and 690 Nm of torque, enabling acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds and achieving a top speed of 215 km/h. With an electric motor capable of 23,000 rpm, the Sealion 7 stands out as one of the fastest mass-produced electric motors globally.

Porsche Macan EV The Porsche Macan EV, launched in India in early 2024, will make its presence felt at the expo. With an ex-showroom price ranging from Rs 1.21 crore to Rs 1.68 crore, this luxury electric SUV offers a range of up to 641 km, making it a formidable contender in the EV market.

Hyundai Ioniq 9 Fresh from its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show 2024, the Hyundai Ioniq 9 is expected to be a major attraction at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo. As Hyundai’s flagship three-row electric SUV, the Ioniq 9, based on the E-GMP platform, features a 110.3 kWh battery pack, delivering a WLTP-certified range of up to 620 km. Its smart charging system supports both 400V and 800V systems, offering enhanced flexibility and efficiency.

Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 is set to be a landmark event, showcasing the future of luxury EVs and providing a platform for innovation and sustainability in the automotive industry.
